Paraffin Hand Wrap & Warm Wrap

It involves the application of paraffin to the skin of the hands and wrists with a beneficial effect on the small joints of the hand, skin, and nail beds. We dip our hands in paraffin several times ina row and thus create a warm paraffin film on the skin. Then the hands are wrapped in special terry cloth gloves and left in the wrap. By applying paraffin wraps, we achieve softening of the hardened skin over the small joints of the hands, improve mobility and reduce pain in the small joints, increase blood flow, and also nourish the nail bed and improve the trophic nature of the nails.

Warm wraps are a treatment in which the body is enveloped in soothing heat that relaxes muscle tension, eases pain, and induces deep relaxation.
